Joselyn Rivera, Patient Coordinator
Joselyn joined Dental Plus in 2019, having started in the field in 2017. She enjoys getting to know patients and loves how Dr Lee and teammates feel like family. Joselyn schedules visits, reviews financial estimates with patients, answers questions, and addresses concerns. She wants every patient to feel comfortable and happy while they are at Dental Plus.
In her free time, she loves to bake with her three children and loves to watch movies with husband.
Amara Zaik, Patient Coordinator
Amara is our newest patient coordinator, joining our team in the middle of 2021. Although she is new to the dental world, Amara has four years of experience as a CNA, so she brings the bed-side manner of aide-care to our front office. Greeting all patients, on the phone and in-person, with a caring, inviting attitude that helps them feel like they are an integral part of their dental care.
In her spare time, Amara likes to read, practice baking, and spend time with her cats.
Jenn Mora, Patient Coordinator
Jenn joined Dental Plus in 2015 and has been the glue that keeps our front desk together ever since! She enjoys talking with patients and helping them navigate the difficult waters of insurance plans. Jenn is fluent in Spanish, assisting our Spanish-speaking patients during procedures and while scheduling appointments. She brings a happy, energetic demeanor to work every day – making our patients feel welcome and less nervous each visit!
In her free time, Jenn likes to spend time with her children, husband, and loving dog Jasmine.
Jackie Portillo, Dental Assistant
Jackie graduated from New England Dental School and received her Radiology Certificate from Tufts University in 2012. When coming in for any dental procedures, her caring and calm demeanor will help you to feel comfortable in our office. Fluent in Spanish, she also translates for our Spanish speaking patients.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughters. In the future, she hopes to continue her education in the dental field with aspirations in obtaining a degree as a dental hygienist.
Sadaf Zahra, Dental Assistant
Sadaf graduated from Middlesex Community College in 2004 and received her Radiology certificate from Boston Career Institute in 2008. When coming in for procedures, Sadaf greets patients with a friendly smile and inviting demeanor, helping relieve the common dental anxiety that patients from other offices have experienced before coming to our office. One of her favorite aspects of being a dental assistant is the many different procedures she gets to assist with daily - from cleanings to fillings to implants!
In Sadaf’s free time she likes to experiment in the kitchen with exciting meals for her family and catching up on all the latest shows. She also hopes to further her career in the dental field, wherever that may take her!
Sarah Houde, Registered Dental Hygienist
Sarah is our new Dental Hygienist, a 2020 graduate from Quinsigamond Community College hygienist school. She used to work at the front desk, but left Dental Plus for a time to pursue her dream of becoming a RDH. Now she is back and more excited than ever to be such an important part of your oral hygiene care! Sarah is a fun, outgoing individual who helps each patient feel at ease during their cleanings. She works at your pace, never rushing, and ensures you know that she will take a pause when you need a break.
In Sarah’s free time, she likes to care for her chickens and go to concerts with her husband.
